Your culture can inspire or drain employees.

Imagine a workplace culture that invites employees to be their most productive and creative.

The LeaderShift Project has a pretty lofty dream: we want to see a world filled with better leaders. Why? Because employee disengagement is holding steady at 70%. We help you build a better culture.

Most senior leaders live and breath their business strategy, yet very few focus the same effort on creating the right culture - one that support the execution of the strategy. Simply put, culture is what leaders tolerate of themselves and others. Most organizational cultures today are mediocre, inconsistent, and poorly defined; the worst ones are downright toxic. You will do better by elevating the importance of culture to a top priority.

How will we LeaderShift your company’s culture? A bunch of long, boring lectures on giving good performance feedback? A 200-page workbook filled with tips for how to manage? Endless PowerPoint slides delivered in a monotone, robotic voice? Hell no! Our LeaderShift System and simple yet powerful tools will help you build a culture of trust, engagement, and execution excellence.

What is The LeaderShift Project?

It's where business strategy and culture finally meet.

Imagine what the workplace would be like if it were filled with better leaders. Your best employees would stick around. They’d be more productive. Customer satisfaction would go up. You’d make more money. One person—a better leader—can change an environment. And a better environment can change everything.

People leave managers or toxic cultures, not companies. When you're a leader, the responsibility to have a successful team is in your hands. That means you have a choice to build a culture that inspires your team, or one that drains it. A choice to cut the BS rhetoric and deliver real results.

We have two goals.

We want to make your job—as a leader—more fulfilling, to help you show up at work every day in a way that gets you the respect you deserve, the business results you commit to, and the career trajectory you want.

We also want to help make your team, department, business unit, and entire organization deliver above-target results.

All of this starts with a being a great leader who sustains an empowering culture in which your people consistently deliver on your brand promise. This is how to delight customers and boost profits. It's where business strategy and culture meet. And we can show you how.

Shani Magosky

Founder / Consultant / Executive Coach / Facilitator

McKinsey-style expertise. IKEA-like simplicity. Jon Stewart-esque irreverence. This is what you get when you work with Shani Magosky.

After beginning her career at Chase Manhattan Bank in their esteemed Management Development Program, Shani left to join Goldman Sachs, where she worked for a decade analyzing, executing, and marketing deals for a wide variety of companies globally. After leaving Wall Street in 2004, Shani was the first General Manager of media startup Plum TV in Vail, CO, where she was challenged to outdistance an entrenched competitor. The station was a finalist for the Best Emerging Business Award by the Vail Chamber & Tourism Bureau in its first full year in business. Her next role was five years as COO/CFO of an entirely virtual international marketing firm. The expertise Shani developed managing that highly-distributed workforce is greatly sought after by those leading flexible, virtual, and multi-generational teams. Shani then started her leadership development consulting and executive coaching practice, Vitesse Consulting, working for a range of Fortune 500s, private companies, startups, universities, and non-profits. The LeaderShift Project comes from years of experience working with leaders at all levels and changes companies by helping people become better leaders—of others and of themselves. In addition to decades of hard-earned corporate leadership stripes, Shani is also a:

  • – Professional Certified Coach (PCC) with the International Coach Federation (ICF)
  • – Certified Co-Active Professional Coach (CPCC) through the Coaches Training Institute (CTI)
  • – Graduate of CTI’s transformational Co-Active Leadership Program
  • – Certified DISC Talent Insights Behavioral Assessment consultant
  • – Certified Leadership Circle Profile and Leadership Culture practitioner, utilizing individual and collective leadership effectiveness frameworks.

In her free time, you can find Shani scaling mountains (or smaller rocks), mid-vinyasa at her favorite yoga studio, hurtling down black diamond slopes, riding her Harley, or kicking back to watch some college football.
